Directions to the Ranch

DIRECTIONS from Billings or Cody

• Leave Cody, WY on Hwy 120 toward Meeteetse and Thermopolis.  Go through Meeteetse and continue approximately 15 miles until you see the Grass Creek Sign/County Rd 17/the Four Mile Road.  Turn right and go a total of seven miles to the ranch, including four miles on paved road and 3 miles on gravel.  After you go four miles on  gravel, the Marathon Oilfield Headquarters is on your right.  Turn right and go along the chain link fence for fifty yards until you intersect a gravel road. 
• Directions after you reach the gravel road are:
  • The Marathon Oilfield Headquarters is on the right inside a chain link fence. Turn right and go about thirty yards.
  • The road turns left in front of  the Marathon entrance. Continue to follow the main gravel road as it bears right over a small bridge and bears left again and heads up the creek toward the mountains. You will see the oil rigs throughout the field
  • As you leave the oil field and cross the first cattle guard, the ranch will be on your left (corrals, green-roofed buildings, horses, cabins, teepees.)
  • Go through the HorseWorks Wyoming entryway on the left and follow the driveway to the ranch guesthouse.

DIRECTIONS from Thermopolis or Casper

• Leave Thermopolis on Hwy 120 toward Meeteetse and Cody. Go about 26 miles. You will see signs for Grass Creek/Hwy 171/Nine Mile Rd. Turn left and go a total of twelve miles to the ranch, nine on the paved road and three on the main gravel road through the oil field.
• Directions after you reach the gravel road are:
  • The Marathon Oilfield Headquarters is on the right inside a chain link fence.
  • Stay on gravel it turns left in front of  the Marathon entrance. Continue to follow the main gravel road as it bears right over a small bridge and bears left again and heads up the creek toward the mountains. You will see the oil rigs throughout the field
  • As you leave the oil field and cross the first cattle guard, the ranch will be on your left (corrals, green-roofed buildings, horses, cabins, teepees.)
  • Go through the HorseWorks Wyoming entryway on the left and follow the driveway to the ranch guesthouse.
