PRICING, REFUND & INSURANCE POLICIES

PRICING:
Price includes orientation to ranch and horse safety, policies and procedures; great horses; meals and lots of them; accommodations; round-trip transportation by local shuttle service between Cody and the ranch at the beginning and end of your trip.  Days may be added to your three-week internship for $150/day.

REFUND POLICY:
Deposits are non-refundable.
No refund or substitution is given to people who leave mid-trip.
(See emergency cases below.)

PAYMENT:
Reservations are held only after receipt of non-refundable deposits.
Deposits may be made by credit card (Master Card and Visa),
personal check, or money order.
Payment in full is due at least sixty days prior to your arrival.
Payments are non-refundable after sixty days prior to your trip. 
 

EMERGENCY CANCELLATION:
In case of emergency cancellations prior to the start of your trip,
you may request that final payments be applied to comparable trips in the same year or the succeeding year, or transferred to another party at HorseWorks' discretion.
Note: consider trip insurance.

DATE CHANGES:
Trip dates may be changed, subject to availability.

ITINERARIES:
Itineraries are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, rainfall and grass conditions.

SUMMARY OF PRICES (double occupancy):
Three-week: $2500
Four-week:: add just $600
Further weeks (by invitation): $250 per week

Fee includes horses, tack, cabin accommodations, meals, weekends at no additional charge, pick-up and drop-off in Cody before and after your trip (local shuttle operator).

Interns should bring an additional $200 spending money for non-HorseWorks activities provided by local tour operators and decided on by the group upon arrival.  These may include a trip to Yellowstone, white water rafting, rodeos and other local attractions.

One-week: $1100 includes same items as above, with Sunday late afternoon arrival and Friday late afternoon departure.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE:

Any person who takes part in any sport or recreational opportunity assumes the inherent risk of injury and all legal responsibility for damage, injury or death to himself or other persons or property that results from the inherent risks in that sport or recreational opportunity.

Participants must sign HorseWorks' Liability Release prior to participating in any activities.

Participants must have insurance that covers horseback riding for the extended period of their Internship.  Management may request to see this information at any time.  Participants without insurance may be asked to leave.
